NOTE: DUE TO COPYRIGHT ISSUES WE HAVE CHANGED THE PROJECT'S NAME FROM PEERLY TO THALI. IT CAN NOW BE FOUND AT thali.codeplex.com

Project Description

What: An experiment to see what it would take to make the web truly Peer to Peer

How: Extend the web to support peer to peer functionality such as running HTTP on user devices, supporting SSL/TLS mutual auth for identification, providing a multi-master synch'd storage service, etc.

Why: To allow users to run their services on their devices.

Who: Peerly is being actively developed by Yaron Y. Goland assigned to the Microsoft Open Technologies Hub. So really there are three of us, me, myself and I. We're a pretty hearty team but we certainly could use a lot of help! Please see How to Contribute if you would like to help! Because boy do we (I mean, I), need it!
